St Mary's is a two form entry school which
has been in Fairford Leys for five years and has an intake
of 60 per year. The school has grown rapidly during this time
and has become a successful and highly sought after school.
The recent Ofsted inspection (November 2006) judged
the school to be outstanding in every area.
Our links to St Mary’s Church in Aylesbury and to the Church on Fairford Leys are very important to us and our school prides itself on its Christian ethos of tolerance and respect.
We have high expectations of our children in all areas of school life and celebrate their successes both academic and personal. We want to make our children active learners who are inquisitive about the world and motivated to learn. We encourage them to be independent and to participate fully in their education. At St. Mary’s we aim to provide our children with a challenging and enriching curriculum that will give them a firm foundation for their future schooling.
The school provides a wide range of extra curricular activities which is a strength of the school as is the enthusiastic and professional team of staff who enable this to happen.
The children of St Mary’s are proud of their school and we are proud of them.
Mrs L.A. Crane M.A.
